Retired Teachers’ Luncheon Oct. 14 to Feature Craft Workshop

Medina County Retired Teachers Association invites members and guests for lunch, fellowship and a hands-on bead and charm project benefiting the 2028 Scholarship Fund.

The Medina County Retired Teachers Association will host a luncheon and bead workshop Oct. 14 at Williams on the Lake in Medina, with proceeds supporting future scholarships.

The Medina County Retired Teachers Association will hold its fourth 2025 luncheon meeting at noon Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Williams on the Lake, 787 Lafayette Road in Medina. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Members and guests are invited to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, hear from outstanding speakers, learn about one-day bus trips, support grants for classroom teachers and scholarships for local education students, and enjoy fun activities during the program.

The cost of the buffet luncheon is $15. Reservations are due by Oct. 4 and can be made by contacting J. Zurrell, 2901 Hamlin Road, Medina, OH 44256, or by calling 330-723-2364. Checks should be made payable to MCRTA.

The Oct. 14 program will feature a Make and Take Workshop in which members will design a European glass bead and charm key ring or purse charm for themselves or as a gift. The cost of the workshop is $8, with proceeds beginning the 2028 Scholarship Fund.

All retired teachers and administrators are welcome, including substitute teachers, private school teachers and college educators.
