Medina County College & Career Fair returns Oct. 8 with 75+ exhibitors

Students, families invited to explore colleges, training, and local internships at Fairgrounds Community Center; passport prizes and optional StriveScan offered

The 28th annual Medina County College and Career Fair will be held Oct. 8 at the fairgrounds, featuring more than 75 colleges, businesses and organizations to help students explore future opportunities.

Students, parents and the public are invited to the 28th annual Medina County College and Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Medina County Fairgrounds Community Center, 735 Lafayette Road in Medina.

In addition to colleges and universities, the event has expanded to include more local businesses offering training, further education and internships to help students “explore their future.”

The student “Education Passport,” a bingo-style card introduced last year, returns to encourage visits to more exhibitor tables. Students who complete the passport can turn it in for a prize from the Educational Service Center of Medina County.

More than 75 colleges and career-enhancing/resource organizations are registered to participate. A current list is available at www.medina-esc.org under “Special Events” → “College and Career Fair.”

StriveScan, an optional student-scanning feature, will be available. Students may register for a barcode at www.StriveFair.com before the fair; during the event, participating organization representatives can scan the barcode to send follow-up information. The day after the fair, students will receive a report listing the organizations with which they scanned.

The fair is hosted by the Educational Service Center of Medina County and the Medina County Economic Development Corporation and is authorized by the Ohio Association for College Admission Counselors. For more information, contact Brenda Zacharias at bzacharias@medinaesc.org.
