Residents are invited to step back in time and explore local history during a Historical Walk and Mausoleum Open House on May 30 at Spring Grove Cemetery.

The annual Historical Walk will begin at 1 p.m., with participants asked to gather at the cemetery chapel. The free event will feature presentations by members of Friends of the Cemetery, highlighting the lives and stories of notable Medina residents from the past.

Organizers say the walk is designed to be family-friendly and accessible, with accommodations for strollers, wagons and wheelchairs.

Following the walk, the community is invited to attend a Mausoleum Open House from 2-3:30 p.m., offering a rare opportunity to tour the recently restored Spring Grove mausoleum.

The structure has undergone extensive renovations over the past three years, and visitors will be able to explore its architectural features while learning about its historical significance to the community.

Both events are free and open to the public.
