Church to Host Worship on the Medina Square Aug. 24

Lunch is enjoyed at Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational's Alive on the Square service last year. This year's service is August 24 at 10:30 a.m.

Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational will host Alive on the Square, an outdoor worship service at the Medina Square gazebo on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 10:30 a.m. The service will be followed by lunch.

“It's a beautiful day to worship outside and bless our city,” said the Rev. Luke Lindon. “There will be a photo scavenger hunt, great music, and food and fellowship.”

Worshipers are invited to bring lawn chairs.

After the service Medina Creative Housing will offer lunch on the square with sandwiches and side salads from the Grande Café and Roastery, featuring ingredients grown in the Creative Living Produce greenhouse. The suggested donation toward the meal is $10 per plate. In case of rain, the event will move inside the church at 217 E. Liberty St., Medina.
