Church supports 12 families at Christmas
Medina United Church of Christ provided food, gifts and holiday items to 40 children across Medina during the season.
Members of Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational, supported 12 families over the holidays with food, gifts and other items.
The church regularly supports eight Medina families in need with biweekly food donations throughout the school year. For Christmas, four additional families from the community were included, bringing the total to 40 children.
In addition to food deliveries, families received snacks from local nonprofit SPARK Medina, along with crafts, games, gift cards, Christmas breakfast pancake kits, and handmade hats and scarves.
“It is our pleasure every year to shower families we regularly feed in Medina City Schools with gifts from our Angel Tree,” church member Ellen Nolan said. “It was especially meaningful to have a few church members surprise us with ‘Christmas breakfast in a bag’ to share with our families.”
