Buckeye Local Schools accepting Hall of Fame nominations

The Buckeye School District Alumni Association is accepting nominations for this year’s Hall of Fame Awards.

The association seeks to recognize Buckeye High School alumni and community members who have distinguished themselves through superior performance, outstanding achievements or significant contributions to the Buckeye Local School District.

Those wishing to nominate an individual can visit the Buckeye Local Schools website at www.buckeyeschools.org/buckeye-alumni to print and complete a nomination form.

Award categories include academic/career, athletic, cultural/performing arts, major donor and special honorary.

To be considered for induction this year, nominations must be received by May 1. Forms should be mailed to Buckeye Local Schools Hall of Fame, c/o Superintendent, Buckeye Local Schools, 3044 Columbia Road, Medina, OH 44256.

New inductees will be honored at the Alumni Association’s “50 Years and Beyond” luncheon on Aug. 12 at Vell’s Event Center.
