Bellezza Avanti earns Best of Show at Wadsworth Memorial LightFest

Salon’s decorated tree tops 103 entries in community-wide holiday display at Memorial Park

Bellezza Avanti Spa/Salon was named Best of Show at Wadsworth’s Memorial LightFest, earning top honors among 103 decorated trees on display at Memorial Park.
Wadsworth’s Memorial LightFest features more than 100 sponsored and decorated Christmas trees lighting up Memorial Park throughout the holiday season.

For the second year, the Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce – alongside Lowe’s Wadsworth, the Wadsworth Public Library, Main Street Wadsworth, the city of Wadsworth, Wadsworth City Council and Wadsworth City Schools – is presenting Memorial LightFest, a free, drive-through Christmas tree lighting display at Memorial Park throughout December.

Local businesses, organizations and individuals sponsored trees for $125, which included a six-foot live-cut tree, 600 lights and a wooden tree stand. This year, 103 decorated trees were unveiled during a kickoff lighting event Dec. 6, featuring a visit from Santa Claus and holiday treats. The Medina County Convention and Visitors Bureau added to the holiday spirit by sponsoring large yard decorations, including a nine-foot-tall Bumble.

New this year was the introduction of a Best of Show award recognizing one outstanding decorated tree. The 2025 Memorial LightFest Best of Show award was presented to Bellezza Avanti Spa/Salon, a Wadsworth-based salon and spa offering a full range of services.

Special thanks go to Chief Dave Dorland of the Wadsworth Police Department, Dawn Hill, design consultant at National Design Mart, and Mike Ludwig, store manager at Lowe’s Wadsworth, for the challenging task of selecting a winner from among the 103 creatively decorated trees.

Bellezza Avanti Spa/Salon received a Blackstone grill, generously donated by Lowe’s Wadsworth, as this year’s competition prize.

Memorial LightFest will continue to illuminate Memorial Park nightly through Jan. 1.
