Aquarius Art Exhibition runs Jan. 31–March 1 at Medina library
Medina County Art League show features more than 100 works in the B. Smith Gallery
It has been proven that artwork uplifts our spirits no matter where it is displayed. It makes our homes and offices feel warm and welcoming, and every room in a home deserves art.
Are your home or office walls filled with art? Is it the same art you have had for years? Maybe you only have art in the living room. What about the rest of your rooms? How old is your artwork? Do you have so much art that you no longer have room for it?
These are questions I often hear from people who view my art at shows: “I love it, but I don’t have room to put it,” or “I don’t have enough wall space.” Occasionally someone says they need something very large or something very small. We can help, no matter the size of your home or office.
Sometimes it is good to change a piece or two to give a space a fresh look. You might plan for seasonal art so it can be rotated more often. Perhaps a group of smaller pieces could replace one large piece. The following is a perfect solution.
Once again, Medina County Art League members have outdone themselves. The 22nd Aquarius Art Exhibition opens with a reception Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the B. Smith Gallery, third floor of the Medina County District Library, 210 S. Broadway. The exhibition will be judged by Akron artist Carolyn E. Lewis, OPA. With more than 100 pieces of artwork exhibited each year, judges are always surprised by the extraordinary talent of the members, and the work is priced to sell.
Do not miss the opportunity to see the show and select something new from the wide range of media on display. Visitors may also vote for the People’s Choice Award. The exhibition runs during library hours through 5 p.m. Sunday, March 1. Admission and parking are free.
Deanna Clucas serves as exhibition chair for the Medina County Art League.
