Knox Community Hospital hosts free cancer talk
Dr. Steven Reitz to discuss colorectal cancer screening on March 31 at Wright Family Medical Pavilion
Join Knox Community Hospital for a free Doc Talk on Tuesday, March 31, from 5-6 p.m.
Steven Reitz, MD, will discuss the basics of colorectal cancer, who should be screened and when, and how early detection significantly improves outcomes. Whether you're approaching screening age or supporting a loved one, this talk will provide valuable insights for taking charge of your health.
This event is free and open to the community. It will be held in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion, 2nd-floor classroom. As you enter the building on the same floor as the Birthing Center, take a right, and the event will be in the first room on the left.
Reitz received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of Ohio at Toledo. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Carmel Health System. Dr. Reitz has a certificate as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He joined KCH in 2024.
