Jeweler Valerie Price honored as Kudos Art Co-op’s November Artist of the Month
Mount Vernon artist’s resin and olive wood jewelry to be featured at Nov. 20 reception
Jewelry artist Valerie Price will be the featured guest at Kudos Art Co-op’s "Meet the Artist" reception on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 10 S. Main St. in downtown Mount Vernon.
Known for her nature-inspired designs and meticulous craftsmanship, Price is being celebrated as Kudos’ Artist of the Month for November. Her signature work features the stunning fusion of resin and olive wood, shaped into distinctive jewelry pieces that reflect harmony, texture, and organic beauty.
“Valerie’s work is a perfect blend of earth and elegance,” Kudos organizers said. “She brings a fresh vision to jewelry making, where natural elements meet refined design.”
In addition to her resin and olive wood creations, Price also crafts intricate beaded and stone jewelry, highlighting both detail and durability. Each piece reflects her thoughtful approach to design and her passion for wearable art that connects people with the natural world.
The Nov. 20 reception is open to the public and will include light refreshments and the opportunity to speak with Price about her creative process. Guests will be able to browse her latest collection and explore the wider gallery, which features works by 23 other local artists in a variety of mediums.
