The East Knox Lions Club is preparing to host its annual Spring Gun Show on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Floral Valley Community Center, located at 850 Crestrose Dr. in Howard at Apple Valley. The event, which has been held annually for more than five years, serves as an important fundraiser that helps sustain the club’s ongoing service projects and community outreach efforts.

Organizers expect a strong turnout as community members gather to browse a wide variety of items and show support for the Lions Club’s mission. Admission is $5 per person, and children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge, making it an accessible event for families and visitors of all ages.

The show will feature approximately 50 to 60 tables hosted by private sellers offering a range of firearms, ammunition, and related items. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade, as well as explore other items available throughout the venue. In addition to vendor tables, the event will include raffles, prize drawings, and concessions available for purchase during the day.

Since its start more than five years ago, the Spring Gun Show has continued to expand and remains a reliable annual event for the East Knox Lions Club, helping support its ongoing service efforts and community involvement.

While many tables have already been reserved, space is still available for those interested in participating as vendors. Tables can be purchased for $25. Individuals who would like to reserve a space or learn more about participating can contact Kelly Wengerd at 740-501-7650 or by email at kellywengerd@yahoo.com.

Community members attending the event can expect a well-organized and welcoming environment, with plenty to see throughout the day. The combination of vendor displays, raffles, and food concessions provides visitors with several ways to spend time while supporting a local cause.

The Floral Valley Community Center has served as a convenient and central location for the show, offering ample space for vendors and guests. Its setting in Apple Valley makes it an easy destination for those traveling from across Knox County and surrounding areas.

As the date approaches, the East Knox Lions Club looks forward to another successful year hosting the Spring Gun Show. With steady attendance in previous years and continued interest from vendors and visitors, the event has become a familiar part of the local calendar.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to mark their calendars for March 7 and stop by anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to take part in the day’s activities and support the East Knox Lions Club’s efforts in the community.
