Waltz recommended to the Ohio secretary of state
When the Tuscarawas County Democratic Executive Committee met Tuesday, Feb. 7, they unanimously voted to select Mark Waltz to recommend to the Ohio secretary of state for appointment to a four-year term on the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections.
The four-year term will commence March 1. Waltz is concluding his first term on the board of elections, having been appointed to the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections by the secretary of state in 2019.
Waltz thanked the committee members for their support and said he looks forward to seeing the completion of the new board of elections facility and continuing to work with the Tuscarawas County BOE director, deputy director, staff and fellow board members to ensure elections in Tuscarawas County are accessible and efficient for all of Tuscarawas County voters.
