TOPS members learn about mental prep tips for successful weight loss
Meeting highlights goal-setting, support systems and healthy habits as Nashville chapter continues its 26-day challenge

Bonnie Porter was the best weekly and monthly loser.

The Easy as A B C: 26-Day Healthy Eating Contest continues.
Porter gave a program from the TOPS website titled "12 Tips on How To Mentally Prepare for Weight Loss." Establish realistic goals, then have a support system. Confront food addictions and maintain a positive attitude. Set small, achievable goals while building a detailed action plan. Get rid of destructive habits and keep a journal of food intake and exercise.
The club meets at the Nashville Global Methodist Church Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
