The Reeves Museum and Dover Historical Society will launch their new featured exhibit for the 2025 season, “The Human Touch: Our Local Nursing Legacy,” with a community unveiling event Tuesday, June 3 from 6-8 p.m. in the Reeves Carriage House.

At 7 p.m. Pam Cazzoli, RN, will serve as guest speaker. Cazzoli is a leading ALS research nurse and a recognized expert on Florence Nightingale. She will speak about her experience in Turkey at the Florence Nightingale headquarters and share insight on Nightingale’s influence on nursing practices.

The exhibit is dedicated to the earliest nurses in Tuscarawas County, with special focus on the graduates of the Union Hospital School of Nursing, which operated from 1904-19. The exhibit features artifacts and historical information provided by Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, Massillon Museum, Aultman College of Nursing and the Kent State Tuscarawas nursing program.

The event also will offer a preview of the museum’s upcoming summer mansion display, “Enchanting Elegance: A Wedding Dress Experience,” showcasing historic bridal fashion.
