Prairie Partners 4-H Club elects officers
Prairie Partners 4-H Club had its first meeting of the year on Feb. 23.
The following officers were elected for the year: President Anabelle Thompson, Vice President JJ Croskey, Secretary Olivia Brown, Treasurer Rollin Hendrix, news reporter Oliver Botha, health officers Reinier Botha and Kash Fry, and safety officers Blake Miller and Parker Milner.
On March 16 the group met again to discuss ideas for the fair booth. Members will make and design items for the fair booth in the coming meetings.
There was a balance of bottle caps at Plastics R Unique from previous years’ collecting. It was decided to use the balance to make a bench. The location is not yet determined as to where it will be donated.
The next meeting will be April 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Holmesville Church of Christ.
