Pomerene Hospital honored with Get With The Guidelines award

Pomerene Hospital announced it has been honored with the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines Rural Stroke Bronze Award for 2025.

This recognition is based on the hospital’s performance data from July 1 through Sept. 30, 2024, highlighting its commitment to improving stroke care in the community.

The Get With The Guidelines program is an evidence-based initiative that helps hospitals consistently deliver the latest and most effective treatments for stroke patients. The Bronze-level award recognizes hospitals that have made significant progress in applying these guidelines and improving patient outcomes, especially in rural areas, where timely and effective stroke care can be more challenging.
