Sign-up for Orrville Public Library’s Winter Story Times will begin Wednesday, Jan. 9. Offered for children age 9 months to 5 years, the programs give children an introduction to the world of books, finger plays, songs, games and age-appropriate crafts.

A special art program, Art in the Afternoon, is designed for children k-2 to explore art and books.

Story Times will begin the week of Jan. 21 and end Feb. 14. If Orrville City Schools are closed due to weather conditions, Story Time is canceled.

The following sessions will be offered (choose one):

—Bubbles & Books (9-23 months with caregiver) Tuesdays from 6-6:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 9:15-9:45 a.m. or Wednesdays from 10-10:30 a.m.

—Two-year-olds (with caregiver) Mondays from 6-6:30 p.m., Tuesdays from 9:30-10 a.m. or Thursdays from 9:30-10 a.m.

—Three-year-olds Tuesdays from 10:30-11 a.m. or Wednesdays from 10:45-11:15 a.m.

—Age 3-5 Tuesdays from 7-7:30 p.m. or Wednesdays from 2-2:30 p.m.

—Pre-k (age 4-5 who have not attended kindergarten) Thursdays from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

—Family (all ages with caregiver) Mondays from 7-7:30 p.m.

—Art in the Afternoon (k-2) Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m.

The same material is repeated in each session, so children should be registered for only one time slot. For more information or to register for programs, call the library at 330-683-1065.

The Orville Public Library is located at 230 N. Main St. in Orrville.
