OACC to host women’s networking conference
The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual Networking Empowers Women Mini Conference on Friday, June 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wayne College’s Student Life Building, located in The J.M. Smucker Multipurpose Room.
Designed to support women at all stages of their professional journeys, the full-day event offers a blend of professional development, networking and inspirational. Whether attending alone, with a colleague or as part of a team, participants can expect to gain insight and build connections.
“We are excited to once again offer this empowering event that celebrates the strength and leadership of women in our area,” said Landre McCloud, membership and marketing director of the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s more than a conference; it’s a movement to uplift and connect women across industries.”
Registration is now open, with ticket prices set at $65 for chamber members, $75 for nonmembers and $425 for table sponsorships, which include five tickets. All attendees will receive breakfast, lunch and a curated goodie bag.
Featured speakers include Angie Giltner on Transform Connections: Build Relationships with the BANK System, Amy Mast on Self-Awareness and Behaviors: The Impact on Company Culture, and Sarah Baker on Climbing the Ladder with Confidence: Leadership Strategies for Women.
The event also will feature a leadership panel discussion with Diane Jarrett of Jarrett, Tanya Franks of Arukah Functional Wellness and Dawn Cazzolli of Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Counties.
The mini conference has sold out each year, so early registration is encouraged.
