The Friends of Tuscarawas County Public Library’s Main Library will host their fourth annual Murder Mystery Dinner Saturday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. The Friends of the Main Library is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds for special projects at the library.

The Murder Mystery Dinner is $50 per person and requires tickets to be purchased in advance at the Tuscarawas County Main Library in New Philadelphia. Tickets can be purchased by cash, check or card. Tickets purchased with a card will have a $3 per ticket transaction fee. Reservations are required by Feb. 24.

The murder mystery is written by Tamara Benson, and ticket holders are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes to add to the ambience of the evening.

Dinner, which is included with each ticket, will feature a buffet-style dinner from Kathy’s Catering and includes baked chicken, roast beef, seven-layer salad, broccoli salad, parsley potatoes, Johnny Marzetti, rolls and choice of four desserts.

After dinner guests will be able to ask questions to help determine who is the culprit, and those at each table will put forth theories after the interrogations. The table with the best guess will be the winner.

The Tuscarawas County Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW in New Philadelphia. Call 330-364-4474 ext. 221.
