Monthly low-cost spay/neuter transport coming to Holmes County in 2026

AlterClinic Animal Care will offer monthly low-cost spay and neuter transport services for Holmes County pets beginning Jan. 15. The transport will meet at 7 a.m. at the recycling area next to the Holmes County Dog Warden’s Department, 5387 County Road 349, Millersburg, and return around 5 p.m. the same day for owners to pick up their pets.

Services include cat spay for $70, cat neuter for $60, dog spay starting at $130, dog neuter starting at $109 and trap-neuter-return for $46. A $5 transport fee is charged per animal, and community cats in traps are accepted.

Monthly transport dates for 2026 are Jan. 15, Feb. 12, March 12, April 9, May 7, June 18, July 16, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.
