Love Center aids 226 families in February
Millersburg's Love Center received over 37,000 pounds of food donations from local churches, businesses and individuals
The Love Center served 226 families with 302 total visits in February, distributing over 37,000 pounds of food with the help of 800 volunteer hours and donations from local churches, businesses, organizations and individuals.

A total of 226 different families came to the Love Center during February. Some families came in more than once, making a total of 302 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 19,516 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 17,845 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 800.
Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Berlin Mennonite Church, Clark Church, Gateway Fellowship, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry, St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Millersburg and Zion Reformed Church.
Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Ace Hardware, Arrowhead Deer Processing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Der Dutchman, Double F Event Center, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Farmerstown Auction, Fidelity Charitable, Feikert Sand & Gravel, Green Leaf, Hershberger Farm & Bakery, Hillcrest Orchard, Holmes County WIC, J-Mar Country Store, J. Miller & Son Excavating, Jitter’s Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Majora Lane Nursing Home, Mast Trucking, Mt. Hope Health Store, Troyer Market, Walmart of Millersburg and Walnut Hills Retirement Community.
Food and cash donations from individuals included Michelle Alexander, Nancy Bridenthal, Ray Casdorph, Kay Earney, Debra Eckelberry, Frank Gnizak, Mary Hopkins, Michelle Justice, Sue Kauffman, Carita Keim, Alma and Timothy Mast, Naomi Mast, Gary and Sandra Miller, Naomi Miller, Betty Mullet, Lisa Rowe, John Starr, David Yoder, Junior and Karen Yoder, and eight anonymous.
Cash contributions for the general fund can be sent to P.O. Box 31, Millersburg, OH 44654. Food donations can be dropped off at the Love Center at 1291 Massillon Road, Suite A, Millersburg, any Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
