Littlest Generals Preschool to hold open house, enrollment
Wooster City Schools recently announced its Littlest Generals Preschool open house and enrollment information.
The Wooster City Schools Littlest Generals Preschool runs Monday through Thursday, with a morning session from 8:30-11:40 a.m. and an afternoon session from 12:35-3:45 p.m. Transportation is available within the Wooster city limits.
Early childhood education supports the development of skills such as communication, problem-solving and teamwork, laying the groundwork for academic and personal success.
To learn more about Littlest Generals Preschool, families are encouraged to attend the open house on Tuesday, Jan. 7 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Early Learning Center, 101 W. Bowman St. Families should use the building entrance off Grant Street.
Families interested in enrolling their children in the Littlest Generals Preschool for the 2025-26 school year can mark their calendars for a new registration date. To qualify for preschool, children must be three years of age by Aug. 1, 2025. Enrollment will open Wednesday, Jan. 15 at midnight and will be based on a first come, first served basis.
Families are required to submit all necessary documents in Final Forms on the WCSD website at the time of registration including medical and dental statements, updated immunizations or an immunization exempt form, the child’s birth certificate and Social Security card, parent ID, proof of residence, eligibility screening, tuition application, and two forms of proof of income. Incomplete applications will automatically be wait-listed. The district plans to notify families of the first round of enrollment decisions by April 15.
