Kind Cadets 4-H Club hosts meeting

The Kind Cadets 4-H Club held a meeting June 29 at the barn of club members Lyla and Leighton Lowery.

Several members gave demonstrations. Lucy Brugger presented a dog obedience session with her poodle, Lady, showcasing a variety of tricks. Owen Shurtz followed with a fishing demonstration, explaining the types of bait he uses.

Leighton Lowery presented a demonstration on the parts of a rabbit and introduced her Holland Lop pet rabbit, Milton. Lyla Lowery demonstrated her cake decorating skills before joining her sister in showcasing their market crossbreed hog projects, Oreo and Ginger.

The meeting concluded with a recreational activity led by Leighton Lowery, which was swimming in the family’s pool.
