Inn at Honey Run to renovate Honeycomb Suites with Homestead Furniture
Redesign project, called Honeycomb Homecoming, will debut in early 2026 at iconic Amish Country resort.
The iconic Club-level Honeycombs at The Inn at Honey Run will soon take on a new look on the interior as the local restaurant and lodging facility teams up with Homestead Furniture to redesign the interior rooms.

The
Inn at Honey Run’s Club-level Honeycombs, one of Ohio’s most unique lodging
resorts, will undergo a major redecorating effort in partnership with
Homestead Furniture. Based in Mt. Hope, Homestead Furniture will guide the design and concept process, custom furniture production, and final installation.
This project, the Honeycomb Homecoming, is anticipated to be open to guests in
early 2026.
When
the Honeycombs at The Inn at Honey Run opened in 1988, they drew national
attention for their distinct integration within the natural landscape. The
twelve private-entry rooms are built directly into the hillside to maintain the
rolling hills and natural beauty associated with Amish Country.
Their interiors
have been updated over the years but never completely revamped. Each room’s
interior showcases a distinctive floor plan that will pair with the new design
concepts.
Jason
Nies, the owner of The Inn at Honey Run, shared his excitement about working
with the Homestead team.
“Homestead
Furniture has a long history and reputation for their high-quality furniture.
After recently touring their showroom, I was amazed by their furniture’s design
range,” Nies said. “We are providing them with a blank canvas, and it will be a
treat for our guests to experience the brand-new Honeycombs.”
Homestead
Furniture Vice President LaVern Hershberger is leading the concept
development for the new interior designs. He is approaching the project so that
each room has its own character, whether referencing historical periods,
architecture, artists or design styles.
“This
partnership pairs two of Holmes County’s longstanding and well-renowned
businesses in a way that will benefit everyone who stays the night in the new
Honeycombs,” Hershberger said. “Homestead’s involvement with this project will
be a highlight for our company.”
Updates
on the Honeycomb Homecoming will be shared on The Inn at Honey Run’s website
and social media channels.
