Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club combines service and skills at October meeting
Members took part in roadside cleanup, multiple shooting disciplines and community fundraising before gathering for food and fellowship.

The Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club met Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Eastern Holmes Sportsman Club.
Club members and their family members participated in the Holmes County Adopt-A-Road Program, picking up trash on Township Road 310. The club members then participated in shotgun, rifle, pistol and archery disciplines.
The club members enjoyed pizza, chips, cookies and beverages to conclude their meeting.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, club members participated with Tractor Supply of Millersburg Farmers Market, supplying hot dogs, chips, beverages and baked goods to support a church family member with hospital surgery costs.
The next meeting of the Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Eastern Holmes Sportsman Club at 6781 Township Road 310, Millersburg. The members will participate in shooting sports disciplines followed by a picnic-style lunch supplied by family members.
The Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Program offers shotgun, shotgun shell reloading, rifle, pistol, archery, crossbow, muzzleloader, living history, hunting and wildlife, western heritage, trapping and more.
