Holidays at the Mansion returns to Millersburg
Holidays at the Mansion will return with some new designers on Nov. 16 at the Victorian House, 484 Wooster Road, Millersburg.
Each year the house is transformed by area businesses, organizations and individuals into a Victorian holiday event. This year’s theme is an “Old Fashioned Christmas,” and each room will take on a look based on the decorator’s creative concept.
The Victorian House will be open from Nov. 16 through Dec. 31. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 1-4 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 1-8 p.m. This year the Millersburg Glass Museum also will be open on Friday and Saturday from 1-7 p.m.
The season will launch with the grand opening on Nov. 16 from 4-8 p.m., complete with a visit from Santa, live music and more.
To get into the spirit of the season, take a step back in time with examples of Queen Ann architecture in the area. The mansion is 28 rooms, four floors and owned by the Holmes County Historical Society.
Built in 1900, the house is on the National Registry and has been on HGTV and used as a Hollywood set.
