Historical cemetery walk to returns to Strasburg

Kim Jurkovic, curator of the Tuscarawas County Historical Society, will lead a cemetery walk this June for the Tuscarawas County Public Library System. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg.

Participants will gather near the mausoleum located near 500 N. Bodmer Ave. before beginning a guided tour through the cemetery. During the walk Jurkovic will share stories and historical insights about several of the individuals buried there.

Space is limited for the walk, and advance registration is required. Those interested can sign up through the library’s online event calendar at www.tusclibrary.org or call the Tuscarawas County Main Library at 330-364-4474 or the Strasburg Branch Library at 330-878-5711.
