Historic downtown featured in library series
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is partnering with Tuscarawas County Heritage Home Association to present on buildings in downtown New Philadelphia Wednesday, March 26 and Thursday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m. in this two-part series.
“We are fortunate that New Philadelphia has such well-preserved local architecture and are pleased to have Heritage Homes feature our downtown buildings in an upcoming presentation,” said Andrew Kamban, public services associate.
The program will feature Liz and Dave Hipp, who will provide the history of each home and include the architecture types and changes in the establishments over the years.
“There is so much history here in New Philadelphia that the program extended to two evenings to enjoy,” Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell said.
To register for this program, view the event calendar online at www.tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474.
