Garaway girls golf beats Hiland, John Glenn

The Garaway girls golf team picked up wins over Hiland (173-223) and John Glenn (173-194) on Aug. 18.

Kylie Miller shot a 3-under-par 33 to pace the Lady Pirates. Sara Weaver chipped in a 39.

Garaway finished third out of 11 teams at the Blue Devil Classic on Aug. 16.

Miller led the Lady Pirates with a 72 and was followed by Weaver with a 76.

Garaway finished second at the River View Invite on Aug. 13.

Garaway shot a 304 to finish second at the Aquafina Tuscarawas County Classic on Aug. 13.

Henry Swartzentruber led the Pirates with a 74. Gavin McRobie added a 75 and Austin Tedrick a 76.
