Fiery Godmother returning for fourth year on Jan. 11
OHuddle will present the fourth annual Fiery Godmother Dress Sale. This event will benefit the OHuddle mentorship program at the Wayne County Schools Career Center. The Fiery Godmother Dress Sale will be held Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster.
This event is a dress resale, showcasing gently used gowns in various sizes, styles and colors. OHuddle will offer the opportunity for the community to purchase a gown for their prom or upcoming special occasion at a reasonable cost. Guests can try on dresses, and any youth who purchases a dress can pick a free accessory as well.
If interested in donating a gently used gown, drop it off at People to People Ministries, 454 E. Bowman St., Wooster, during business hours. This event has been made possible in an established partnership with Orrville Mother’s Study IV, Chrysalis Family Solutions, High Point Furniture and the First Presbyterian of Wooster youth group.
If interested in joining OHuddle to be a mentor for area community youth, the next mentor training will be Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. at 969 ½ Blachleyville Road, Wooster. Registration and more details can be found at www.ohuddle.org.
