A weeklong revival push in Wayne County will open with a free public concert featuring David Leonard on Friday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Fisher Auditorium on the OARDC Wooster campus of OSU.

From Saturday, July 26 through Thursday, July 31, there will be activities as Wayne County churches team up with reviveOHIO, which is bringing a team of missionaries and volunteers from Ohio and beyond.

“ReviveOHIO’s mission is to unite and equip local believers to go out into their community to pray for people, share the good news of the Gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ,” said Mark Burd, state director of reviveOHIO. “Wayne County will be the 20th county over the past nine years where churches have invited us to work alongside them for at least a week of this kind of special focus.”

Leonard is nationally known as a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter. Among his well-known songs are “Good Lord,” “Come As You Are” and “There’s Nobody.”

He is coming to Wayne County through River Radio, which has a regional station in Wooster.
