Community invited to Holmes DD September activities

The Holmes County Board of Developmental Disabilities announced a series of community events scheduled throughout September.
A video game night for teens and adults will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16 from 5-6:45 p.m. at the Holmes County Public Library, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg. TVs, projectors and consoles will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own favorites.
Buddy Softball games are planned for Sept. 17, 23 and 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Oasis Youth Center, 3460 Township Road 159, Baltic. The public is encouraged to attend and cheer on the teams.
Holmes DD will provide its mobile Universal Changing Table at the Millersburg Art Festival on Sept. 20. The adult-sized table is designed to meet personal care needs for individuals of all abilities by offering a clean and safe area.
September's activities will conclude with pickup basketball games at Deer Run Park, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg, on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 6:30-8 p.m. Water will be available, and teams will be organized based on attendance.
