Clay workshops offered at HCFA
Holmes Center for the Arts is partnering with the Olde World Bistro in Millersburg to offer monthly clay workshops on the first Wednesday of each month.
The first event will be Jan. 9 with Cookies & Clay making polar bears from 5:30-7 p.m. and Cork & Clay creating slab kitties from 7:30-9:30 p.m. These step-by-step projects are for all skill levels and will be taught by instructor Brittany Sinnema-Jackson.
Cookies & Clay is appropriate for students of all ages, and admission includes all materials, a PBJ sandwich, a cookie and a glass of milk.
Cork & Clay includes all materials plus the first glass of wine or soda and an appetizer from the Cork & Clay appetizer menu.
All Hump Day Clay projects are make-and-glaze and will be fired and returned to Holmes Center two to three weeks after the class. Each workshop carries a $40 per person fee.
