Lake students showcase artwork at historic one-room schoolhouse
April exhibit features pieces from all grade levels in a community celebration of young artists
Step into the One-Room Schoolhouse this April for a student art show featuring work from Lake Local Schools students. The schoolhouse is located near Lake Middle/High School at the corner of Lake Center and King Church roads.
The exhibit will be open Sundays, April 12, 19 and 26, from 2-4 p.m., offering visitors a chance to view a showcase of student artwork in a historic setting. Each weekend will highlight pieces from a variety of grade levels and artistic styles, reflecting the creativity of local students.
This family-friendly event provides an opportunity to support students, celebrate the arts and connect with the community.
Artwork on display includes pieces from Andrea Colgrove’s third- through sixth-grade classes; Jamie Stegner’s second- through sixth-grade classes; Charity Hockenberry’s seventh-, ninth-, 10th- and 12th-grade classes; Robyn Peterson’s kindergarten and first-grade classes; Mrs. Sprang’s seventh-grade class; and Heather Boxler’s seventh-grade class.
