For more than 15 years, the annual Health, Safety and Wellness Expo has brought the community together to learn about and promote healthy lifestyles, preventive care and safety. This year the expo will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14 at the Coshocton Community Room on Chestnut Street. The expo is free to attend.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local health professionals, wellness experts, first responders and nonprofit organizations. There also will be vendors whose products and services directly affect health and safety. Preventive screenings also will be available.

“This lifesaving event has saved countless community members’ lives over the past decade and a half. We look forward to this event each and every year, as we know that health and safety are top priorities, whether it’s a young family to an elderly person,” said Amy Crown, executive director of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce. “When we see early detection screenings catch serious conditions or families learn critical safety information that could protect their children or aging parents, it reminds us why this event matters so much. It’s not just an expo; it’s an investment in the well-being of our entire community.”

This year the expo is co-sponsored by the chamber of commerce and the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. This partnership reflects a shared mission of strengthening Coshocton County by supporting both the economic vitality and the personal well-being of its residents.

The expo has provided blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings, glucose testing, CPR education, and resources on fall prevention, mental health and many other needed topics. Families are encouraged to attend together.

The chamber of commerce and CRMC are committed to ensuring access to vital information and services. By bringing together trusted local partners and dozens of vendors, this event continues to strengthen the health and safety of the community.
