GhostBox Productions offers fall theater workshops at Clary Gardens
Sessions in sewing, acting and stage props invite kids and adults to explore the art of live performance in Coshocton
GhostBox Productions is a nonprofit, troupe-based theater company located in Coshocton. Its mission is to produce innovative theater through a troupe committed to artistic excellence. To help spread its love of theater, the group is offering several autumn workshops at Clary Gardens. The cost is $10 per workshop.
Theatrical sewing for 16-year-olds to adults will be offered Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn basic sewing skills, hemming, quick repairs, buttons, what to include in your sewing kit and how to handle backstage emergencies.
Acting and movement for kids age 5-15 will be held Saturday, Nov. 22 from 1-3 p.m. Learn the basics of acting, bring characters to life, collaborate with others and learn how to use your voice with confidence.
Kids also can take props and costumes Saturday, Nov. 29 from 1-3 p.m. Students will learn how to care for costumes and props, how they are used in theater, and experiment with real pieces.
