Coshocton Kiwanis Club hosts annual Pancake Day Nov. 6
All-you-can-eat fundraiser at the Elks Lodge supports youth programs and brings the community together
The Kiwanis Club of Coshocton Pancake Day is about more than enjoying fluffy, yummy pancakes.
“You get to see people you haven’t seen in a while and help make a difference,” said Mindy Housholder, president of the Kiwanis Club.
The annual pancake event will be held Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Coshocton Elks Lodge, 434 Chestnut St., Coshocton.
Tickets are $8 with children age 3 and under free. Pancakes are all you can eat.
“This is our main fundraiser and helps us give back to the youth of the community,” Housholder said. “If you’ve been coming for a while, you will see some of the same faces flipping pancakes, but there will also be some new faces.”
Members of Coshocton High School’s Key Club also assist at the fundraiser.
“We are like one big family that day,” said Sandy Jones, Kiwanis Club member.
