Come dine at the Warehouse Steak n’ Stein Tuesday, March 24 to support the new E-Motion E-Bike program coordinated by Coshocton County 4-H and The Peer Center. Ten percent of proceeds that night will go toward the program.

Larry Monroy of The Peer Center is excited for this first fundraiser and appreciates the support of John Larson and his restaurant.

“We are hoping to launch in the spring when we have some solid good weather,” Monroy said.

The bikes will be rented from The Peer Center and can only be used on the local bike path. The public will be able to rent the bikes, but nonprofits will have a reduced rate.

“We want to make sure it’s a manageable option for parents and youth groups,” Monroy said.

His plan is to start with 12 bikes and grow the program as needs and funds allow.

Group rides, individual rides and peer-led wellness rides will be options with the goal of working on youth and adult development, mental wellness and resilience, community connection, physical health, and active living.
