Minerva Community Easter Egg Hunt set for March 28
The YMCA and the library now will coordinate the annual tradition for area children
The Minerva Area YMCA and the Minerva Public Library will host the Minerva Community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 28, at the Minerva Public Library, 677 Lynnwood Drive, Minerva.
The Great Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, which has conducted the Easter egg hunt for more than 10 years, will continue to support the event. The YMCA and the library now will coordinate the annual tradition for area children.
Organizers noted the event date has changed from previous years. The hunt will be held Saturday, March 28, rather than the Saturday before Easter as in the past.
Activities begin at 10 a.m. and include a visit from the Easter Bunny and face painting. Preregistration is preferred. Those interested may call 330-868-5988 to register or stop by the YMCA. The event is open to children ages 3-12.
