Wisdom Wednesdays event aids Wooster seniors
Local experts to discuss aging resources at Wooster Library on March 25.
VANTAGE Aging and the Wooster Library will host Wisdom Wednesdays for Seniors and Caregivers from 1-3 p.m. March 25 at the Wooster Library. This community panel will connect seniors and caregivers with local experts and resources to help navigate the aging journey.
The event, moderated by Kim Ventresca, CEO of VANTAGE Aging, will feature a panel of professionals representing areas of aging services including the following:
—Attorney Josh Hinkel, Community Legal Aid.
—Kristen Dowey, OneKey Virtual Care.
—Jennifer Hartzler, Jenn’s Downsizing.
—Lynne Hermenski, Hospice of the Western Reserve.
—Jennifer Kenne-Beebe, VANTAGE Meals on Wheels NEO.
—Mike Link, CarePatrol.
—Jodi Roberts, ProSeniors.
—Dianna Stair, West View Wellness Center.
—Representatives from VANTAGE RSVP AmeriCorps Seniors and VANTAGE SCSEP.
—Tina White, real estate agent, eXp Realty.
Topics will include legal planning, health care options, housing and senior living guidance, downsizing, nutrition services, volunteer opportunities, hospice care, and caregiver support. Attendees will hear brief insights from each panelist, participate in a moderated Q-and-A session and have the opportunity to ask questions. Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free, and seniors, family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend.
