Wooster Community Hospital Health
System announced the appointment of Jesseca Phillips as provider relations liaison, beginning Oct. 20.
As provider relations liaison, Phillips will connect
with providers and practices to ensure their voices are heard and their
concerns are addressed, bringing timely updates and resolutions. For any
tenant in a hospital-owned facility, Phillips will be the go-to contact for
facility-related needs or follow-up.
“Welcoming new providers is a passion of
mine,” she said. “I will help coordinate tours, introductions and everything
needed to hit the ground running.”
Phillips is excited to work alongside
service line and department leaders to strengthen connections with referring
providers. Provider relations liaison is a perfect match with Phillips’ passion
and natural ability to connect, along with a sincere interest in understanding
and supporting others. Phillips said she is “committed to building lasting partnerships with
area providers through support and collaboration with the WCH Health System.”
Phillips brings 11 years of WCH
experience to her new position, having been promoted from marketing and PR specialist, where she found her experiences both meaningful and inspiring.
“Being a part of the marketing department truly opened the door to so many
opportunities,” she said.
Phillips brings her creativity
and well-honed skills in interacting with providers, supporting provider
onboarding, event planning, website editing and much more to her new position.
A native of New Jersey, Phillips has spent most of
her life in Wooster and is a graduate of Wooster High School. She currently
lives less than a mile from WCH with her husband of 14 years, David. They have
three daughters (two grown, one at home), one rabbit, Bun Bun, and a sweet and
sassy dog, Rosie. She enjoys family time, traveling and concerts.
“Right now, I’m in the phase of life where I’m a full-time chauffeur and
cheerleader for my middle-schooler, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Phillips said. "I am incredibly excited about this new position
as provider relations liaison. I’m ready to jump in. I love the caring culture at WCH... and I love it here in Wooster. It’s a
great place to raise kids."
