NECIC Staffing expands to Wooster, connecting residents with jobs and support services
Agency’s nontraditional model helps employees overcome barriers while partnering with local businesses for long-term success
NECIC Staffing announced the expansion of its workforce development services into Wooster. This milestone marks an important step in NECIC’s long-term strategy to grow into a statewide agency, connecting more Ohioans with stable employment and wraparound services.
NECIC Staffing’s nontraditional staffing model helps individuals secure sustainable jobs, especially those who may be managing personal or life challenges that have made traditional employment difficult. From an employer’s perspective, NECIC functions much like a recruiting agency: Businesses can hire through NECIC and bring the employee fully on board after 90 days. Meanwhile, NECIC works alongside each employee to help address barriers such as transportation, housing, child care or other life factors that may impact success on the job.
As part of NECIC Staffing’s expansion into Wooster, Jennifer Krinke and Sara Donohue have joined the team to lead operations in Wayne County.
“This is an opportunity to connect a wonderful staffing model that truly resonates with the employers of Wooster and Wayne County," said Krinke, a Wayne County native with seven years of staffing experience.
Donohue brings three years of staffing experience and said she is eager to turn the many We’re Hiring signs into real connections between local employers and residents.
“Expanding into Wooster is both a professional and personal milestone,” said Matthew Benko-Scruggs, president and CEO of NECIC. “As someone who is proud to call this area home, I’m excited to see our model of economic mobility and opportunity take root here. In addition to providing exceptional service, we’re also giving back by offering a 5% contribution to support workforce development programs or adult mental health nonprofit organizations in Wayne County.”
NECIC Staffing will be located at 201 E. Liberty St. in Wooster and can be called at 330-962-3934 or emailed at Wooster@NECIC-Ohio.org.
