Hey Mavis to perform in Wayne County Historical Society series

Americana quartet will appear Feb. 22 as part of Voices from the Past program

The Wayne County Historical Society will welcome Americana quartet Hey Mavis for a live performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in the Schoolhouse on the WCHS grounds, 546 E. Bowman St., Wooster.

The program is part of the 2026 Wayne County Historical Society Voices from the Past Series, now in its 33rd season, and will highlight the history of the Ohio and Erie Canal.

Hey Mavis has been performing together for more than 11 years, building a following through heartfelt vocals, honest songwriting, instrumental solos and strong onstage musical chemistry. The group has been featured on NPR and PBS, performed at the Rochester International Jazz Festival and opened for Melissa Etheridge.

Tickets are $15 and are available for purchase at the Wayne County Historical Society on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1-4 p.m., and at Murr Printing, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
