OHuddle will host its fifth annual Fiery Godmother Dress Sale Saturday, Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster.

The event is a gently used dress resale designed to make prom and special-occasion attire accessible and affordable for local youth. A wide selection of gowns will be available in various sizes, styles and colors. Shoppers will have the opportunity to try on dresses, and every youth who purchases a gown may select a free accessory to complete their look.

Proceeds from the Fiery Godmother Dress Sale benefit the OHuddle mentorship program at the Wayne County Schools Career Center, which supports students through relationship-based mentoring and skill development.

Community members who wish to donate gently used formal gowns may drop them off at People to People Ministries, 454 E. Bowman St., Wooster, during regular business hours.

The event is made possible through long-standing community partnerships with Hummel Group and the First Presbyterian Church of Wooster youth group.

Individuals interested in becoming a mentor with OHuddle are invited to attend the next mentor training Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. at 969 ½ Blachleyville Road in Wooster. Registration and more information are available at www.ohuddle.org.
