Medicare 101 program coming to Dover Library July 15

Area residents approaching Medicare eligibility or seeking updates for 2025 are invited to attend a free informational session, Medicare 101, at the Dover Public Library Tuesday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Susan Saunders, public information officer with the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, will lead the program. She will cover Medicare eligibility, enrollment and benefit options and provide updates on changes coming to Medicare in 2025.
Saunders has experience working with Ohio’s Medicare population. She has used federal tools to assist individuals in comparing health and drug plan options and currently serves as a full-time training officer and MyCare Ohio project manager. In 2023 she assumed her permanent role as public information officer for OSHIIP’s northeast region, which includes 20 counties. She also is a member of OSHIIP’s speakers bureau.
