Dover Library to offer beginning crochet classes in July

The classes are open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies will be provided, though attendees are welcome to bring their own yarn and crochet hooks.

The Dover Public Library, 525 N. Walnut St., will host a three-session beginning crochet class Wednesdays, July 16, 23 and 30 from 3:30-5 p.m. led by instructors Cathleen Misko and Sherri Perry.

The series will begin July 16 with a hands-on lesson in making a friendship bracelet using a basic chain stitch. On July 23 participants will learn a new technique and create a crochet bookmark. The final session will focus on crafting classic granny squares.
