Two reappointed to Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities
County commissioners renew four-year terms for Mark Gryskiewicz and Andrew Olah to ensure continuity and leadership.
The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities announced the reappointment of Mark Gryskiewicz and Andrew Olah by the Medina County Commissioners to additional four-year terms. Both were sworn in by Medina County Commissioner Aaron Harrison on Monday, Dec. 15, at the Achievement Center.
The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities is composed of seven volunteer members appointed by either the Medina County Commissioners or a Medina County probate judge. Board members represent a range of professional backgrounds and include community leaders and family members of individuals with disabilities.
“I appreciate the county commissioners’ confidence in reappointing both Mr. Olah and Mr. Gryskiewicz,” said MCBDD Superintendent Stacey Maleckar. “Their experience, steady leadership and commitment to our agency continue to be a tremendous asset as we work toward shared goals for people with developmental differences and their families. These reappointments ensure continuity and thoughtful leadership for our agency, and I am grateful for their ongoing service.”
Board members provide leadership and direction for the agency and demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting people with developmental differences while contributing insight to board processes. MCBDD meetings are held monthly and address agency business, policy, budgets and program planning. Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
