Medina police raffling gift cards to fund 2025 Shop With a Cop event

$1 raffle tickets, sold weekdays at the Medina Police Department, will help give local children a holiday shopping day with officers during the Dec. 13 countywide program.

The Medina Police Department is selling raffle tickets to help fund this year’s countywide Shop With a Cop program, set for Dec. 13 and organized by the Fraternal Order of Police Medina County Lodge 204 in partnership with law enforcement agencies across the county.

The annual event pairs officers with children facing social or economic challenges, giving them a day of holiday surprises while strengthening relationships between local youth and law enforcement.

Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at the Medina Police Department lobby, 150 W. Friendship St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Prizes include a $250 Visa gift card for first place, $100 for second and $50 for third. Donations are also welcome, with proceeds supporting Medina officers as they accompany Medina City Schools students during the festivities. Checks should be made payable to the Medina County Law Enforcement Association.
