Medina County Democrats donate $1,000 to Feeding Medina County
Local party leaders say the contribution aims to support families facing food insecurity during the holiday season.
In response to the difficult times many families in Medina County are facing, the Medina County Democratic Party Executive Committee voted to donate $1,000 to Feeding Medina County to assist area households.
Medina City Ward 3 Councilwoman Regi Haire and Ward 1 Councilman Chet Simmons delivered the donation to Feeding Medina County Executive Director Janet Newcomer.
“We’re thankful to be able to assist our neighbors during these trying times,” said Ed Isabella, newly elected Medina City at-large councilman. “If there are families throughout the county looking for food assistance during the holidays, we encourage them to reach out to us at medinademsinfo@gmail.com. No family should be worried about where their next meal is coming from.”
The Medina County Democratic Party’s mission is to elect Democrats at the local, county, state and federal levels and to provide Medina County with honest and transparent government.
