Best-selling children’s author Max Brallier will visit the Medina Library later this month for a special event geared toward young readers and their families.
Brallier, a No. 1 New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author, will appear at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23. The program is recommended for children in grades 1 and up.

He is the author of more than 50 books for children and adults, including the popular middle-grade series “The Last Kids on Earth,” as well as “The Last Comics on Earth,” “Eerie Elementary,” “Galactic Hot Dogs” and “Mister Shivers.”
Brallier also won an Emmy Award as a writer and executive producer for Netflix’s animated adaptation of “The Last Kids on Earth,” which helped bring his characters to an even wider audience.
In addition to his own titles, Brallier has written books tied to well-known properties such as LEGO, “Adventure Time,” “Steven Universe” and “Regular Show.” Under the pen name Jack Chabert, he created and authored the “Eerie Elementary” series for Scholastic.
Before becoming a full-time author, Brallier worked as a game designer for the virtual world Poptropica and in marketing for St. Martin’s Press. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
The Medina event will include a book sale and signing following the program, giving attendees the opportunity to meet Brallier and have books signed.
